Colombia

Sister organization | Venezuelan migrants & marginalized communities

Artolution’s Colombia program began in 2019 with the goal of supporting conflict-affected youth and artists, including Venezuelans and internally displaced Colombian communities, through collaborative art-making practices.

In 2022, Artolution launched a new, independent organization based on its foundational approach and values: Artolución, a Colombian-led institution that aims to impact thousands of vulnerable, conflict-affected children a year through the power of art. While proudly independent, Artolución remains a strong member of the global Artolution network and works closely with Artolution's programs across the globe.

Artolución Colombia has completed more than 40 public art pieces across the country, impacting over 500 participants and transforming communities.

Artists in Colombia also diversified our signature programs by introducing dance, theatrical performance, sculpture, photography, yoga/meditation workshops, as well as a virtual exchange project that connected teens from Colombia with their peers in Jordan, Uganda and the US.

“For the past 4 years, we've paved the road for locally-led community art programming in multiple cities and territories throughout Colombia. Our team has impacted the lives of more than 600 youth. We are now registered as a non-profit organization in Colombia, where we’ve kicked off the year with a partnership with Comfandi, the biggest family compensation fund in Colombia.”
