The elders and the kids all gathered around a fire where kangaroo Tail was being cooked and discussed the importance of traditional food ” Bush Tucker” and representing the stories of traditional animals. Although coming from different mobs, the two groups shared a camaraderie of values. As the youth painted, the elders instructed and the collaboration resulted in a piece coming from the youngest to the oldest stories of the Central Dessert Aboriginal community.
